ok, now i understand.

do u know any place where i can rent near the Subway Stations in toronto for as low as possible?
1. It'd be very tough for someone to decide for u here. 'Coz there r many locations along the TTC line which could be dwelled upon.
2. Pls check the TTC map here: http://www3.ttc.ca/images/fixedImages/TTC-Downtown.pdf
3. Most locations around D/town might not fetch u a 'basement', 'Coz there aren't many houses there... mostly high-rizes.
4. Check Viewit.ca here - click the 'zones' - to select specific locations: http://www.viewit.ca/torontozones.aspx
5. North York is a good location, along the subway to reside... better housing vs. price.
6. Expect to pay around $1200-1400 for a decent 1BR appt here. Some older bldgs. may come by $1000-1200 [needs serious search].
7. For cheaper options a good idea is to move to the suburbs of Mississauga & Brampton. Toronto would be pricier.
8. Starter job search would also be better here than downtown, 'coz of the many industries/warehouses/retailers.
9. While in downtown u could expect better Security jobs, 'coz of the huge repertoire of multi-stories.
10. Downtown jobs rest mostly with office types - which might be tough to fetch initially.
11. However, when u do get a job anywhere - plying from the suburbs won't be that difficult too - many do so.
12. Buy a car asap... that broadens your horizon! Then staying@Mississauga & taking a job@Pickering would mean nothing!
13. Yes, good jobs would take u far-flung... not nearby the city main.
14. Locating yourself based on a job search criteria is an unwise decision, initially.

Sorry, I had to write the foregoing...

You can also check craiglist and the local newspaper for rental listings and shared accomodations.

Agreed by the above post of Captain QORAX

Brother ,heres the very simple solution for your economical accommodation

What you have to do is to take subway RT form main street and go upto coxwel station ,as you exit from station walk to Danforth .Now you have to find any DESI GROCERY SHOP .Every grocery store has a place /board reserved for advertisement, check that section and you will find rental availability ,choose whatever suitable for you and contact them.(I guarantee you it is the best economical method to find out accommodation)Repeat same action for next stop i.e greenwood, donlands, pape. Most chances are you will find your accommodation near donlands or pape areas
some of grocery stores are 1) Better Bulk / Danforth2035 Danforth Ave 2)Shahjalal Grocery.Address: 2883 Danforth AveToronto ON 3)India Sweets and Spices Inc.Address:1196Bloor Street WestToronto ON CA M6H 1N2 4)Aravind596 Danforth Ave.Toronto, ON etc
