Hi my Name is Ken,

I've been a member of the forum for a while now, I was looking for an appropriate place to put this but I don't see a single place for general community posts. My wife and I are in dire straights right now thanks to Canada Immigration and a not so helpful immigration consultant. We're looking for help to keep the family farm.

We have a fundraising campaign here https://fundanything.com/en/campaigns/save-our-family-farm

Just to summarize for those who may not have read the sponsorship appeals posts. My wife was 35 and I was 32 when we started seeing each other, I met my wife In Iceland and we began seeing each other in 2012, we spent time together in Iceland and in Thailand we were overjoyed when we found out we were going to have a baby however we lot the baby in October of 2012 I suppose it was an indicator that our Idea of a happy life together was not something that would be granted to us just because we love each other.
My wife applied for a TRV from Iceland and was denied I paid for her to return to Thailand to stay with her mother and her daughter (my stepdaughter) we tried again from Thailand (with proof of land ownership family bank funds etc) but were again denied, we had originally planned to get married in Canada and have a 2nd ceremony in Thailand but thanks to the generous government of Canada we had to flip our plan around and we got married in Thailand. We hired an immigration consultant and applied for PR . He said after he submitted the file and we had first stage approval he would submit for a TRV for my wife for only $6000 I paid him he told us to take loan for so we had a sizable bank balance to show Canada immigration my wife took out the loan on the farm and he said he was working on it for 3 months (after approval) he then told us he wasn't going to submit it, if he had told us this 3 months earlier we would have canceled the loan.
After carrying the loan for several months we were unable to pay it back as it is setup loan so the balance never goes down and the monthly payments are less than the interest. When her interview came my wife wanted to speak to the VO in Thai so there was no confusion but from the blue book it seems there is even more confusion long list of false details they decided my wife only married me to get into Canada. I was notified Nov 18th when I called IAD Toronto that we've been selected for a full hearing they are booking for the end of 2016 now and should we win my wife may get to see Canada sometime late 2017 or 2018.
I apologize for the wall of text my wife and I appreciate anyone who can help us.
