Long wait for study permit

Hi, My name is Pritpal Kaur. I applied for canadian study permit under SDS on 21st July 2019, gave biometrics on 8th August. Its been 3 months now and i got no response from the visa officer. I am so worried. I had applied for September intake but even that has passed so i have deferred my program to January intake. May i know if anyone faced same issue ?
Is there anyone else who is still waiting after such a long period.

Hello. I have been waiting for 8 months! Applied from the UK. So you aren't alone. I had to defer my courses too. I have also had little communication regarding my delay.

You are not alone i did biometric at 16 july till now nothing ,ijust got validity of biometric at 21 august... after that nothing iam from iran
