have done my medicals in Dec'08 then I have been asked to submit PCC in Jan'09 which I submitted in Feb'09 afterthat there is nothing.
I wrote to Buffalo office they said
"Your application is in process. We are unable to provide a date when the processing of your application will be complete."
Now I don't know what to do?
Can anybody suggested something hiring a lawyer would help?

Thanks

I think being a little more patient will pay.
Some are lucky to get the PR in 5 months. If you look at the Buffalo processing time for PNP

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/international/04-provincial.asp#west

only half the cases are getting completed in 6 months the remaining half takes 7,8,9..... months.

And I have seen a belief among members here that they will get AOR in two months PPR in another two months which is only the best case scenario.

5-9 months should be considered normal. And with the given economic situation and the large number of PNP applications because of the AINP SRS it is taking longer.

I am sure CIC folks would have asked AINP to cut down on the number of nominations issued, as a result they just removed IT occupations from the list. Effectively denying 90% of H1B holders the opportunity to apply for PR.

If you look at http://www.trackitt.com under Buffalo PNP there are lot of December, Jan, Feb AORs waiting for PPR.

So I think folks who have reached this stage in the process should be a bit more patient as rasco suggested. We are in a much better position compared to those who just applied or were planning to apply for AINP.

Its just a couple of extra months wait.
