long process

Hi All,

I've reached CIC by phone for last several days, always failed . Would you please recommend what should I do ?


May 2011 : sent the application
Nov. 2011 : moved to Toronto, ON from the other province
Aug. 9 2012 : Ecas says " we started processing your application
( On Aug. 9, one person of CIC Sydney telephoned me to check my son's address and told me he would transfer my file
to local office in a few weeks )

So far there is no change with my process and I am planning to move to the other place in the same city which may cause more delays.

1. Is it better not to move ?
2. My son was under minor application, but now he is over 19, can we seperate his file from mine ?

If your son is not living with you any longer and even is living in another province I would separate the file.
Don't move to St. Clair, this office is known for it's lengthy processing...
