I want to ask about the aim beyond London's new checklist which ask about the spouse's contracts and experience letters of her job(s)....

In other words, will that affect our applications???? Will change the opinion of the officer who is working on our application???

let's advise each other

thx a lot

Will this be applicable to the new guys OR those who are already in the queue and had already applied?

hi sir:
what do mean???? I sent the initial application to CIO and received the AOR from them on 18\2\2010..... Must I follow that change in the London's checklist??? or not???

and what is the benefit of that change in ur opinion???

thx

i don't know the whole story behibd it. but in plain eyes, i would say it will only affect whoever is about to send their full docs to London or has submitted full docs to london chc on or after this new list has published.

hi:

I really need someone to more clarify that change...plz help

ok.
it won't make any difference for the whole application assessment in theory.
but, ur spouse's ref letter serves following purpose:
1. gives a more fair view about her/his background e.g. no involvement in issues realted to Canada's security
2. if for any reason ur points are calculated less than 67 & VO wants to let u immigrate to Canada, this ref. letter will help the VO to take decision on ur financial independence e.g. in cases where spouse is also working in the 38 occupations list.
3. makes it easier for CHCs to carry out background check & might facilitate the whole processing time indirectly

just my opinion.

best of luck.....

Well dear friends;
I believe one major intension is to adress Pakistani Applicants, who r now also applying to London visa office. For second change i-e spouse work experience; i believe its only to support her information provided in her background form.

Great answer..
