I got a reply to my enquiry, that my file is waiting to be reviewed by immigrtion officer. Medicals sent on Sept 2007, I am Sept 2007 applicant.

When did you send your medical? And when did you send email too? I sent them email last week.They ususally reply within two days. But this time I have not recived any reply yet.

Probably client service unit feels that a necessary action needs to be done in response to your e mail, so most likely they forwarded it to the VO handiling your case. Expect any news very soon mate.
If CSU sees that no necessary action is to be done yet with your file they will send standard reply to you. ....Just speculating though...

You are right. I sent them email about my application in Aug 2010.They replied in two days i.e. your application is with an officer awaiting review. Again I sent them email by the end of Sep, 2010 about my application.They replied after two weeks with medical request.

Exactly the same experience I had. The first four e maiLS were replied within 48 hours with standard contents like many are receiving. I got no reply on my fifth e mail but few weeks after that I received the medicals. So, cheeRS to those who had sent e mail and were not receiving replies in 48 hours. You are going to receive good news from CIC SOOOOONNNNN!!!

Have you noticed all those emails are saved in our file? I have seen them in the CAIPS. The number of emails we send are saved with the reply.

There is really hope, as we can see applicants getting medicals, ppr and visas.

I have waited for long and still waiting for medicals.

The first 3 e.mails were replied, but the last one has been for more than 1 month with no reply.

Just having hopes.
