I'm new to this forum and I was hoping you guys could answer a question for me. How is one's local office determined? My home address is different from my mailing address as I am living in another province at the moment (going to school). Will they use my home address or my current mailing address?

They will use the address which you have mentioned in your application as your mailing address. Once your file is in process, you have the option to update your address.
