LMO+work Permit processing time

Dear all,
Based on your experience, how long does it take to get labour market opinion (whether positive or negative) in ontario?
if not mistaken, LMO is filed by my employer correct?

Hi dear, yes, LMO should be filed by your employer and they will be the one to send it to you, and then you can file your work permit application to the embassy. I am also actually just like you, but mine was already submitted to the embassy, still waiting for response though. I. This forum you can see their timeline, they usually release results after 5-6 months...Which country you are applying?

LMO's are supposed to take 4-8 weeks, but they are taking around 11 weeks right now apparently.

I've been through the process twice: once in 2007 (which took 6 weeks) and once in July this year (took 9 weeks).

my employee has applied for my lmo on dec-9/2011, and still there are no updates on it.what is the current processing time for lmo in Toronto.?
