first step the LMO. does anyone have any idea how likely these are to get processed?
my finance wants to apply for a temporary work visa for a low skilled labor job.
It is however something that is high in demand (diamond drilling) and due to the hours (12 hours per day 7 days a week for a month, with time off inbetween) and the hard work it is hard for them to keep employees or recruit them for that matter.
Its something that requires a lot of on the job training in which he will later be able to train others.
anyone have any kind of idea what is the chance it will be approved?
Also, if he does get it approved, what are the chances the second step is approved providing he clears the medical and police section.
it states that the person needs to have some sort of status in the country where he or she applies. is a temporary work visa in another country enough status? i couldnt find any more definitive information on this...
i am aware that the employer is falling way behind in a big contract, and i dont want to bother him with loads of paperwork if its a low chance we will get approved.
anyone have experience?
thank you!
