hi there,
I'd like to ask you a question please, regarding Work Permits with LMO/CAQ.
I'm about to apply for a CAQ and LMO to get a new Work Permit, because mine expires end of July 2012. I'm working at the same employer in Montreal since November 2010. I need to show proof that my boss advertised for this job in order to check first if there's a Canadian available with my experience. In 2010 he had an ad on Kijiji-Montreal, but nobody qualified enough answered, he printed out all the answers from Kijiji, including mine mentioning 15years Pastry in European/International Pastry Experience ect.. I mean, in the doc's they ask "Why don't you hire a Canadian....." Well, my boss told me it would cost him more time and money to train a canadian to get MY European/International Experience. No Offense of course to our Canadian Friends !
The Government wants to "transfer new skills ect." according to their LMO Paperwork....well...here I am.
Do you think it will be enough for Service Canada and MICC to give me positive LMO?
I mean, whats the point of putting an ad out there, where nobody answers, or nobody qualif. enough answers and you tell them 2 weeks in a row " Thanks, but no thanks" ?
What do you think about that ?
Is this "alternative" enough?
greetings,
