LMO...How to prove mine is an PG work permit

Hello Everyone,

I have applied for an LMO to extend my Post Graduate Work Permit. Today Service Canada Called my lawyer asking me if i have any supporting documents to prove that mine is Post Graduate workpermit.I had submitted my PG work permit to them.they say its not mentioned in the work permit.
I think my work permit says Category 02.Any idea what it means.

1st, don't understand why you need LMO to extend your PGWP
2nd, don't understand why your lawyer did not know how to prove its PGWP

Call 1-888-242-2100 (CIC call centre) and ask - they should be able to clarify this. Ask them to send it to you in writing, so you can give a copy to HRDSC.

@Pro-Public... a PGWP can not be renewed. So to continue working after it expires, the employer has to obtain a positive LMO which will enable the OP to apply for a new work permit(tied to the employer).
