LMO expired and visa extension rejected. Help

Hi. Please help! My LMO expired on the 20th March and a visa extension application was applied for. Just got word today that this application has been refused - as it should have been a restoration application that was submitted. I am now not able to work and was told to leave the job today until further notice. The employer has already applied for a new LMO for me but we are still waiting on this. Is there anything that I can do in the meantime? or any advice?

You'll have to give us way more details if you want help. You'll need to list what you held (work permits?) and when they expired. What you then applied for and when you received the refusals. When you say that your LMO expired March 20th it's not at all clear if you're talking about a new LMO, an old work permit attached to an LMO or somethig else.
