what is a measure of LMO? I searched the guideline of CIC, but it looks ambiguous. Can you help me to grasp its measures in detail? For example, for a lower skilled worker, minimum salary, employer numbers.... and so on. I have been hired to a private store as a full-time worker.

- The job offer and the company are genuine.
- The wages and working conditions are in line with those offered to Canadians (NOC wages).
- Employers conducted reasonable efforts to hire or train Canadians for the job.
- The foreign worker is filling a labour shortage OR if hiring a foreign worker will directly create new job opportunities or help to retain jobs for Canadians OR the foreign worker will transfer new skills and knowledge to Canadians.
- This hiring will not affect a labour dispute or the employment of any Canadian worker involved in such a dispute.

Probably the most important evaluations are: Was the job advertised widely and can the employer prove this? Did the employer make a real attempt to hire a Canadian for the role and can the employer prove this?

If the answer to one or both of these questions is no then you can expect the LMO to be refused.
