Hi there. Can I continue working while waiting for the new work permit under LMIA but my SIN number will expire and I can't renew it without the approved work permit? I'm under PGWP as of now and my permit is expiring next year. Once LMIA processing is approved.

Has your employer already even approved for the LMIA? Have you applied for a closed WP already?

Not yet. Will do that in January. Just to have an idea of what we gonna do and how's is the process.

My current employer gave me a job offer form when I get hired in October 2022, do they need to give me a new job offer for LMIA to apply for IRCC? What date should be put? Will the date be before submitting application to IRCC?
