I need guidance from you all. I am from India and got an offer from a Canadian employer and got LMIA. I am planning to apply online and gathering documents.
From the documents checklist, I found out that the following documents required and please guide me if I left any,
LMIA from Employer
Offer Letter
IMM 1295E
IMM 5707
IMM 1295E Open Work permit for my spouse.
Marriage Certificate / Photos
I am yet to do the police certificate from passport office, medicals and photographs.
I have few queries as follows. Please guide me.
1)How to verify LMIA ?
2) Do I need to scan passport, degree certificate and upload as PDF ?
3)Do I need any other documents to be filled ?
4)Documents for my spouse for Open Work Permit
IMM 1295E by selecting Open Work Permit and leaving other fields.
My spouse working as a freelancer for the past 4+ years and can I mention this in Employment details? If so, do I need to submit any proof for this ? Please guide.
4) Do we need to provide my Spouse's previous employer details for the past 10 years ? In the past 10 years, one among his previous employer shut the company and the employer funded a new startup with a different company name and address. How to deal with this ?
5)What additional documents required for Open Work Permit apart from IMM1295E, Family Information form, marriage certificate ?
6) Will there be verification of employment for me as well as for my spouse ?
7) There are lot of checks that needs to be followed while taking photographs and I am not sure what's the best required picture. Please guide
