It is stated on the CIC website that the applicant must 'plan to live outside the province of Quebec' to qualify for the CEC. I am currently residing in Ottawa (Ontairo) and work in Gatineau (Quebec), and I do not plan to move to Quebec.
I hold a Post-graduate work permit (PGWP) which is LMIA-exempt thus deeming me ineligible for the 600 points. Is it possible for my employer to get the LMIA approval at all? Even if the job is in Quebec?
