LMIA Processing time??

Hello,

I was recently offered a job as an Occupational Therapist in BC. My employer has informed me that it will take a minimum of 45days for this to be processed.
Does anyone know if this is correct and roughly how long it takes? Can it be a lot quicker than the 45 days?

Possible it could be faster - also possible it could take four months.
