No problem :)

@ Salil2013,

Still no news, hopefully we hear something from SC as they said we will have the result this week!!!

Looks like nothing is moving in Ontario. Other than the guys LMIA which got rejected. I have a bad feeling

So, the week is over.
SC said we will got the result and they decided were, to send a letter to the company to ask more information.
Seriously, are they kidding us?????
They could ask over the phone last week, or fax it. What they want more??

Our restoration period is finishing in less than 3 weeks, and we have no time.
What we can do is applying restoraion as a visitor. And it's not garantee we could get it.
Our life is so messed up right now, because of this delay. Our application should be handle under 10 days process rule.

Sorry I couldn't give you guys a good news...
Hope you guys get better news soon!

Have a good weekend!!!

Omg thats ridiculous. Apparently everyone who are waiting for the LMIA seem to be in a messed up phase of life. What more information did they ask for? I am on the same boat, have 5 more weeks of restoration period. Booked my tickets to visit my parents, but looks like i have to postpone it. OH SERVICE CANADA. What are you doing to us?

I guess if you keep calling them and bothering them, this is gonna happen , just sit back and relax, let them do their work, keep minimal communication

Not on our side...
SC said they sent the letter last week, and still not get it!! We are living in GTA, not overseas!
Company called SC today and ask them if they can send it by fax or email, but no.
It must be the letter. WHAT THE...?!?!
They can send the result to other people by FAX or email, but not this letter???!!!

We are ready to send our application for restoration and visitor visa, I hope it works otherwise we need to leave Canada as soon as we got rejection...
I'm starting to hate Canada now... :(

Hi Friends please reply

I have been offered a Job opportunity in Toronto based company in the month of March 2014, from then onwards the roller coaster ride has started. They said they have applied for the LMIA, which was then called LMO, then June onwards they started saying its now called LMIA and rules have changed. After several follow ups today they say since the rules have changed my procedure got delayed also most important thing they say according to the new procedure of LMIA

"The company applies for LMIA to Service Canada, Service Canada then approves LMIA and sends back to Company, then Company approves my Name and again with all the documents submits it to Service Canada, and then Service Canada again issues the LMIA in my name"

I need to understand is this the real change in procedure?

Unfortunately that is the new process. Lengthy and time taking

Thats how ridiculous they are. My restoration is ending on 23 Dec. Will wait till the 15th and then apply for visitor or something. And then keep an eye on express entry, if that would save life.

Update...

So we got the letter from SC(it took a week to get it just across the GTA!), and they pointed there is a gap in the advertisement on job bank while the LMIA processing, and they want a explanation for why the company need this language and traistion plan which are already explain it twice on the application and when they called.
I really can't understand why this needed to sent ouy by letter though. They can easily send it by email of even Fax it.
And second point, why they need to ask same questions again ang again...If it's not clear, why they didn't ask more when they called? I really don't get what for they are doing this. It just feels like they are playing around...

And the other point, I don't know why there is a gap in the Ad, I hope the company can explain good reason for this...
Otherwise we are completely screwed!!!!

I'm start to losing my hope :,(
