My friend is going to work in Ontario, LMIA route He would apply for self and family for OINP. Should his family fly in with him right now or can the family come in after 6 months, due to personal obligations back home. Thank you.

So family has approved work/study/visitor permits? If so they can enter anytime prior to expiry.
