Hello Everyone,
I was just reading about the LMIA on CanadaVisa here: http://www.canadavisa.com/labour-market-impact-assessments.html#Median Hourly Wages by Province/Territory (my employer wants to do this for me). My question is as a low wage worker should my employer be at least paying me the median wage in my province for this to work (BC is 22.60, I am getting paid 16) or is it based on my NOC job number (in case my NOC's median wage is $27.40 in BC). Just to re-iterate does LMIA use the province's median hourly wage or does it use the job's NOC number (Like PNP does)?. I understand that LMIA is usually when you are outside of Canada (not sure if it even works when you are inside Canada).
Thanks in advance for all your answers.
