Lmia, laywer or not

Hi All,

I have a job offer for an admin assistant, but my employer needs to go through the LMIA process. I want to make it as easy as possible for them but i cannot afford lawyer fees at this moment. would you all suggest i still find a Lawyer or is it possible to do it without one.

Getting an LMIA for an admin assistant is likely going to be very difficult given the current unemployment rate. It would be very difficult to show that there is nobody who already have permission to work in Canada that can do the job.
