Hi I have recently accepted an offer from a Canadian university. I was informed that I need LMIA to apply for wp. I am a foreign national applying wp from the US. Does anyone know about the timeline of LMIA for academic positions? I got a wide range of answers from people who applied in the past years. Does a professor position fit into the GTS? It seems not based on my search but I just want to check. Thank you! Much appreciated.
