hi my frnds owns a company and its been only a year so far its an e commerce company that sells products on Amazon and he has someone working from outside canada n working as e-commerce specialist n my frnds jst pays him through paypal or western union now he has no
employees in canada n profit margin is not huge as its a small company can he still apply for Lmia for the person outside canada under the AEO arranged employment offer? i read that 2 yrs of tax documents r required usually for employers is that true?

Go through all the requirements for a LMIA and hiring a foreign worker. To get the LMIA, your friend has to show that no Canadian can be hired. For an e-commerce company selling on Amazon, I find it hard to believe there is no Canadian to do the job. Have they even posted their job opportunities on JobBank or Indeeed. This is the link for business legitimacy and all the paper work to complete.

yes he did n no one applied this was when he didnt know abt lmia so he found this person through upwork n then he found out abt lmia process so he is jst wondering if he is even allowed to do that .. i guess best thing is to consult a lawyer as there is a lot of information

Good idea. The process can take a long time.
