Hi :)

I applied for a LMIA-exempt work permit (BC PNP) online in November and I'm supposed to start working the 1st week of January for my Canadian employer.

If the online application does not reach a final decision starting 2019, I was planning on cancelling/withdrawing it and applying at POE (I hold a passport from a visa-exempt country and I have a valid eTa so I am eligible) but starting December 31, biometrics are mandatory when submitting a new application for a work permit.

VAC here in Santiago, Chile does not accept walk-ins for biometrics, and requires a biometric instruction letter to schedule appointments (which I don't have because they're still not required for Chilean nationals).

This website says you can give your biometrics while applying at Vancouver International Airport POE.

Has anyone given biometrics at Vancouver International Airport when applying at POE? Will this be possible? Maybe I'm worrying to much but comments from people with a similar experience will be helpful.

Thanks ;)!
