Hello,
My background:
My Question:
The IEC work permit is a LMIA exempt wp. And seeing as I will soon have 1 year of FT work experience with my current employer and as it is indefinite (no expiry) and fulltime.
Does this mean I can take advantage of the 'Valid Job Offer' option (as the I meet the criteria and that my IEC allows me to be LMIA exempt) so I can get 50 CRS points?
References supporting my claim that IEC is LMIA exempt:
Thanks!
My background:
- I was already working at my current workplace before activating my IEC WP.
- I activated my IEC (Working Holiday) Open Work Permit on Aug 2019.
- As stated before, I just continued working at my NOC Type B (2282 User Support Technician) job, fulltime (40 hrs a week) up until now.
- Now: I have a couple more months to reach my 12 month 'Canadian Skilled Work Experience' requirement for the CEC.
