LMIA - Editing the Job Post

Hello,

I'm currently waiting on my LMIA to be processed after having my job advertised for 4 weeks from the end of November.

Last week my company tweaked the post to add more detail, which led to the job post updating to say it was added last week.

Does this effectively mean I have to start the process again? Or is it okay to edit the post?

I'd very much appreciate anyone's insight here.

Thanks!

If they have added a word or two - that would be one thing. If they have significantly changed or added to the content - then you may very well have a problem on your hands. The job posting needs to stay up as is after you submit the LMIA application. If it's been modified, then it's not the same job posting. I would advertise for another month with the new job description before submitting the LMIA application - make sure your company doesn't make any further changes.
