LMIA closed work permit to Open work permit

Can some one please confirm, if I can apply for this new work permit program ?
I have closed LMIA base work permit valid till next year Aug 2025. I got my work permit this year on May 2024 from POE - Surrey.

So when did you apply for BC PNP as a potential nominee? So far, BC has not signed on. Alberta’s requirements are that you are potential nominee with permit expiring in 2024.

So BC has not signed on and with Alberta, only those that were nominee candidates as of date of announcement with expiring or expiring work permits in 2024 will receive letters. Use Alberta as an example so right now you would not be eligible. You still have a year left on your permit and the purpose of the announcement is for those with expiring permits. Plus you are on a closed work permit so BC that requires a job offer so would not need an open work permit.

Based on how Albert has implemented this rule, you most likely will not be able to apply. You will have to wait for BC to publish their rules.
