We have a big problem (well for us big) We (husband, wife, 2 girls) came to Canada in June 2013 as visitors for 6 months so we tried to extend our stay here refused after over 10 months
So we applied for a restoration of our status on 28th December 2014 and still no decision but we got a letter on 5th august 2015 that CIC needs 12 weeks more to process our case. We are still in implied status!!!
Now my husband got a job offer with a pre approved LMIA...
Some people say go and get your work permit on the border some say no,with implied status you can't get your work permit on the border?!?
What is the right thing to do now??? We are very confused ???
