I AM A CHARTERED ACCOUNTANT, CURRENTLY LIVING IN INDIA.
PLANNING TO STUDY A SMALL COURSE IN CANADA AND THEN WORK AND SETTLE DOWN THERE.
I HAVE A JOB CURRENTLY, EARNING RS. 5 LAKHS P.A. - NOT HAPPY WITH THIS JOB.
IS CANADA A GOOD CHOICE TO MIGRATE, CONSIDERING SCOPE OF CA JOBS IN CANADA?
ARE CA PAID WELL IN CANADA?
IS JOB LIFE BETTER IN CANADA THEN IN INDIA?
AND I HAVE 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE, WILL IT BE EASY TO FIND A JOB IN CANADA?

ALSO I HAVE AN OPTION TO JOIN MY FAMILY BUSINESS - WHICH WILL GIVE ME FLEXIBLE WORK TIMINGS SO I CAN HAVE A GOOD LIFE AS WELL AND BETTER FINANCES ?

U have to sacrifice a lot in canada to achieve good life. Initial period is struggle and they don't recognize India's CA and they want canadian experience. Irrespetive of ur experience outside canada, u need to start from scratch. 2 to 3 years will be tough and then gradually u will get good job.

+1 . The first few months are a real struggle. I know someone, who cracked an IT job, 4 months after landing. Now he is doing real good. Takes time.
I met a pathologist and a doctor from India and Srilanka respectively, who are here for 3 years and are in supermarket, stocking etc.
a close friend, who migrated a year back is with scotia bank...

I am in an inbound call center., got the job a week of landing!!.( my plan to stay here for 5-6 months , pay bills) as i am on a path to change my verticals..on a course..

if you are earning good in india ,theres no need to come to canada. coolguy well answered your question in the best way. here,life is not that much easy in initial days and only the luckiest ones get their desired job at early times and inspite of that you wont be getting that real carefreeness and happiness which you find in your native country,THATS THE FACT !

I am also confused whether to immigrate or not to Canada.I am a doctor in india and earn about 50000 pm from my clinic .Iam ready to change my profession or face initial struggle in Canada.I wanted to know whether the doctor and pathologist mentioned are earning good and whether they are happy in Canada?
