Live in caregiver who does online study, anyone?

Hi there! I am a live in caregiver in Edmonton Alberta and planning to upgrade my status here in canada. I am now in my one year here which means another year to wait to apply for an open permit. I was thinking to take an online 6 months course just to get ready for the next stage of my life here. My question is, does anyone who is a live in caregiver who does schooling here in canada? Particularly taking health unit clerk or health care aide ?What are the first and foremost thing to do?

hi there,,, try to check the cic website,, I did some online studying before but it was less than 6 months so I did not need any study permit... You might need to get a study permit it depends what are you studying and for how long... hope it helps
