Good day!
So this is my dilemma right now...im currently here in canada and is under the live in caregiver program. maybe around june or july, i will be qualified to submit an application for permanent residence for live in caregivers but the processing of that would take like around 17-33 mos which is too long. on the other hand, im also a registered nurse in the philippines, i checked the points system for Foreign Skilled Worker and I did get a passing rate.
so i would just want to ask your opinion on which path to take? apply through the Live in Caregiver or the Foreign Skilled Worker?! and if I will to apply as a Foreign Skilled Worker, where is the best visa office to send, Buffalo or Manila? Which Visa office process the fastest? I can submit it in Buffalo coz im already here in canada and i can also send it to Manila because im a filipino citizen. do u think how long is the processing time for the manila and buffalo visa office?! will it be longer than the live in caregiver?

Plz help me...
opinions will be greatly appreciated..

1. Well the cap for Nurses is full and if it is on the next list, you can't apply until next July.
2. The processing time for Buffalo is presently for FSW is 21 months and Manila is 14 months. Do you have a US visa, incase you have to go for an interview.
3. So whether you apply under the LCP or FSW it is going to be a minimum 21 for Manila for FSW or about the same for LCP.

thank you for the reply..I also think that in that case they have the same time frame especially if i will wait for the reopening of the cap for registered nurses in july 2012.
another thing that concerns me though is that im considering getting my boyfriend/ fiance' as soon as
possible. through my research, I noticed that married applicants under LCP takes longer processing time, but if I were to marry my BF and i'll apply as a FSW, both of US will be approved in 14 mos..

what do you think??
LCP single --15 mos the least but still have to sponsor future husband for 8-9 mos or a year??
LCP married -- definitely more that 15 mos but both of us
FSW registered nurse -- still have to wait for july 2012 and will apply in manila for 14 mos and married...

oh..it's really hard to decide..
