Live-in Caregiver Course in Vancouver

Hi guys,

Can anyone recommend a certified school in Vancouver that offers the Live-in Caregiver course that would qualify under the Live-in Caregiver program?

I see Sprott Shaw has the Live-in Caregiver program (8 months duration) but wondering if that is would qualify or if there are any others.

If they offer such a program that means they teach future live in. There is not any certification for live in. So ANY program in care-giving is good enough.

Hi Regina,

Thank you very much for your response. I'm new to whole process and I have so many questions. I've been on the CIC website but the information they give is so generic. I have been trying to do my own research to see if a this person will be qualified if he takes the 6 months training though he has no experience and to make sure that his English will be good enough before investing money on his schooling.

Somewhere on cic site they write that you have to have 6 months of a specific education OR 12 month of full time job. look for Operational Manuals. There the process and requests are described in more details.
