Hi everyone,
Could anyone please help me? I am Australian, and looking for work in Canada under the Live-in Caregiver Program as a Nanny. Under the requirement I either need a year of work experience doing a job working with children. Or I can study a minimum of six months (with 30-35 hours per week in a classroom setting) to get a qualification as a Live-In-Caregiver. Can anyone suggest a course I could do in Canada that would suit GIC's requirements?
Obviously I need a live-in caregiver course or similar. We don't have such courses in Australia, only courses that require us to study for 18-20 hours per week in a classroom setting. It's getting quite frustrating! I'm also looking at studying in New Zealand or America, or anywhere where I only need to study for 6 months.
Best thoughts to you all,
Dixie
