I am looking for some advice, I posted a few months back regarding my intended plan to immigrate using the EE points system, but I believe I will fall short of the requirements due to education.
I have a trade certificate which I believe will likely be equivalent to Canadian high school standards, which leads me to the AINP.
Cliff notes are these, current occupation retail supervisor. Will have 12 months full time experience in this role in June of 2021. Temporary work permit expires in October 2021.
If I were to apply to the AINP after I have gained the experience, how long would I potentially have to wait for an NOI or an ITA? I have heard people talking about a 16 month wait, but they couldn't clarify whether that is for an ITA, or the processing time once the ITA has been offered.
My work permit is with the IEC program, I am wondering what options I would have to continue working either via BOWP, or whether I would have to apply for the young professionals catagory to gain another two year work permit whilst waiting for an ITA?
