Hi guys

Unless a similar topic was initiated before, I believe that this topic will be important to those who rely on province nomination but have no relatives/friends in Canada who can help them with their immigration application.

I recently came across Morden's initiative** (MCDII) which is really simple in terms of requirements (except the fact that in-demand jobs are very few) but great in terms of helping you with your 600 points.

I created this thread to ask those who have experience/knowledge of any other similar towns that offer similar help with your PNP points.

If you are aware of any other towns please list them here and hopefully we'll keep this thread active

Regards

To be honest Morden is one of a few... if not the only one. At least i've only heard of Morden.

Thanks for your reply.

I'll leave this topic and try keep it active for a week or so. If no more comments are added related to the subject then I'll assume like you said that there are no more other towns going down the same route

There was a small city in Ontario doing the same as Morden, however I am trying hardly to remember its name, but I donot remember.. ???

I think only Morden and Winkler https://www.google.ca/amp/calgaryherald.com/news/national/canadas-small-cities-and-rural-areas-desperate-for-immigrants/amp

No... it was something like "Pierre..." and a word before or after that... I noticed its immigration system in 2016, I just cannot remember... :(

Thanks guys for the interaction. So in summary so far the cites (list will be updated) that might be helpful with PNP are:

Morden, Manitoba
Winkler, Manitoba
Simcoe County, Ontario

Only Morden is useful but it has only 5-6 occupations in their demand list, and these jobs are very odd too. Like plumber, carpenter, mason, blacksmith

Like K4n4d4WS, it looks like Morden is the only one that has a dedicated program (and a website)
