Hi there,

Is there a list of the port of entries into Canada that provide full immigration services? Searches have provided me with misleading information, I was hoping someone may have some insight before I make some further calls.

I am currently residing in Victoria, British Columbia and have received my Confirmation of Permanent Residency letter. I need to exit and re-enter Canada so I can officially "Land" and have an interview to validate this letter. My question is which port would be the best to do this from Victoria. I have been told this process must be done at a land border or airport and not a sea-port so that rules out the ferries directly from Vic to Seattle/Port Angeles. Does the Victoria airport have sufficient services to perform this process or is Vancouver my best option.

Appreciated any feedback on this

many thanks

1. You can't "land" inland at an International Airport, you have to fly in. To land at the Ferry terminal, you would have to be returning to the US.
2. You other choice is phone for an appointment to the call centre 1-888-242-2100, for either Vancouver or Victoria when they have itinerant service. None are listed for Immigration for Victoria in the near future.

3. Or you could take the ferry to Tswassen and flagpole at either Birch Bay (iffy) or Douglas.
