My wife worked (intership - half period) as a tourist guide at a tourist attraction building that the city hall where we're from owns. She worked there for about a year, more or less 8 years ago. This was her first "job".
While the building where she worked at belongs to the city hall, she never worked in any of the City Hall's management offices, nor she took any decisions related to the City Hall. Also the job activities had nothing to do with the city hall, like I said: she was just a tourist guide. She did receive her paycheck with the city hall name on it though, since it was a government building.
We searched on the city hall's website and googled her name and we could not find any kind of indicator pointing that she worked for the government in that job.
Is this still considered a government position for the immigration officers?
