Linking husband's application in CIC

Hi,

I am a Canadian Citizen living with my husband outside Canada. I have sponsored him in Oct 2015 and got approved as a sponsor. His file is transferred to New Delhi Visa Office.

In my CIC account it shows Decision Made and my husband's file is still in process. I am trying to link my spouse's application via ScotiaBank account. But due to some reason I am not able to find his file. I have also emailed the technical support team.

Could someone please advise me regarding this? I am worried as I am not able to contact the NDVO.

Hey dear use continue gc key istead of sigh in partner.i hope then you will able to connect your husband's file. Gud luck.

if you have a copy of your paper application take it and start to enter the information exactly as it was written in the application...use the GCkey to link not the partners...I hope you succeed.

It not a big problem it do happen will all applicants while linking with gc key. Even I did it after 9 attempts. Are you entering Pa information or Sponsor.

Only enter the PA information then it works don't enter sponsor information.

Hi,

I'm not sure if you've done this already. There's a part where it asks for applicant's personal information. There are two choices: place of birth OR passport. My mistake at first was filling in both. You only have to choose 1. I feel it's best to fill-in the passport part and not the place of birth. The passport is a sure #. This also goes for the first part, I believe it's better to choose the Application# + UCI#.

Thank you for the reply. I am trying to login via continue gc key entering the pa information suggested below. However, I have raised a query with IRCC and hoping they reply to my issue

Thank you everyone, finally I was able to link my husband's application. As we checked, there it shows different stages of process.

It still mentions that my husband's file is still under reviewing process. It will be almost 1 year this Dec and the file is still under review.
I am worried. Does it take so long for the file to be under the review process?

Please could someone advise. Making me tensed.
