Linking application error for sponsorship

Hi there,

Can someone provide step to step on how to link a sponsorship application to my online account? This is my secon Day trying and the application can’t be found. I tried with every way possible but it always shows that my application couldn’t be found.

I would appreciate some help!

There is a tab in the linked spreadsheet in my profile signature called Linking MyCIC. Give those suggestions listed there a try.

What worked for me is this:

Use the option Application Number and Last Name --- fill the information
Click Search right away
It'll tell you then which ones to fill in, the ones with arrows, NOT asterisks.
Click Search again.

I hope you'll be able to link you application.

Try this, it worked for me:

Do not fill in the “Passport” section even though it’s required. For “Number of family members, including the primary applicant, that are part of this application” put 2 (Principal Applicant + Sponsor)

Awesome, thanks! Also in the ammount of people in the application if We filled out use of a representative which is my mother in law, do I have to include her?

No. Number is sponsor, applicant and dependants (if applicable)

I truly appreciate your help I was able to link my account!! Now, I have to wait until CIC sends us a message if they need extra paperwork right? I loved Joining this Forum!

Congrats. Glad I was able to help.
You will be able to see some updates in your GCKEY profile and some requests will come via email as well. Have you been asked for your IMM5669 Schedule A form yet? This form, when they ask for it, will be uploaded via your GCKEY profile unless there is technical difficulties. In my wife's application, the Upload button was missing on her profile so we had to submit it a different way. Good luck!

I haven´t received a request yet, I was only able to link my application just now. I have the form filled out and ready to upload as soon as CIC requests it. I hope everything goes fine as well! Thanks so much again
