I'm from the Philippines and just got my PR visa application approved last week. We have a 6 month old baby girl and since my husband is a Canadian citizen, she automatically gets Canadian citizenship. Anyway, my husband had already applied for the citizenship card but it will take several months to be finalized. We have just been informed by our lawyer that we need to apply for a Limited Validity Passport at the Canadian Embassy in Manila for our travel to Canada which on August 30th. Our dilemma is that it will it take 15 working days to process the passport. My husband still has to send me the requirements via courier (which will take about 5 working days to arrive).
Can my husband apply for the limited validity passport in Canada instead?
