Hello everyone.....pardon my ignorance.....i am visiting canada in this week for about a month....i am carrying all the necessary documents regarding ties back home and a return ticket to prove my stay is only for a month.....my question is how long will the immigration officer limit my stay.....will it be 3 months , 6 months or until the date of my return ticket....this is my first visit after my visa is granted for 10 years....

No one here can answer the question because this is ultimately up to the CBSA officer you encounter at the border. Typically visitors are given six months. However it's entirely possible to be allowed in until your return flight or even shorter.

Hi scylla, multiple entry was granted last nov 2016 valid till july 2018. Is the first entry should be within 6 months after the issuance of visit visa on nov 2016? Thank you.
