Limit of how many bowp you can get?

Hi,

So my situation is that last year I got an AOR I applied for bowp (bridging open work permit) and successfully received it. However my pr application was refused (long story). I have received another ITA but I think I might need a new bowp. Is there a limit of how many times you can apply? I am unsure as I have already applied to one before.

Hi,
there is no limit for BOWP. If you need one go ahead and submit your application (after submitting your e-PR application of course).

This is quotation from IRCC website

"The open work permit will be issued under the authority of paragraph R205(a) and will be coded as follows:

LMIA exemption code: A-75
NOC: 9999
Intended Occupation: Open
Case Type: 27 – Under examination
Duration: 12 months

Subsequent requests from applicants to extend their stay on an open work permit will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis."

So. it really depends on your case. There is no rules about applying BOWP more than one time
