Hi all,
I have a question and need to know the best way to go about this. We were married last year and then my husband went back to Jamaica after being told by a friend that they new people who could guarantee him a canadian visa.. these people falsified documents and we should have known better then to submit them but I guess we were thinking whatever gets him here the fastest then we could apply for residency within Canada.
He was denied the Visa. He then did get a visa for the USA.
But we need to file our sponsorship papers and we are thinking honesty is the best policy.. we know we screwed up.... but better to be honest now then continue lying.
Does anyone know what the consequences are for this? Should we get a lawyer? Or just submit the documents with the truth and keep our fingers crossed?
Please help, we are so desperate to be together.
