Hello

I recieved a letter from CIC requesting my driver logs and financial statements of my corporation.
I drive truck to USA on regular basis since 2009 for which I have attached my employer letter stating that I am driving the Canadian company truck for US routes.
My question is driver logs make weigh around 5kgs...I feel it is too hard to copy and send such a large pile of paperwork.I am thinking to send 100-120 sheets from the requested time period along with financial statements.

Please do suggest what will be better and good response.
Thanks

The more accurate and complete stuff you send, the more it would be better. don't worry about quantity or weight. Just remember to send whatever possible. If you send limited stuff, CIC won't be satisfied and then your application might be delayed. So, send everything possible.

What such info they need - you need to send all that they require, don't think or say its hard to... just do it.. u don't want them sending it back or requesting additional info on it. You may need to go to the YMCA as they are one of the specialist in helping applicants. They will sure directly you accordingly.

Hey we went through the same. My husband had Rq and Copied every log sheet, filed them into binders month and year order. I also took color markers an on each log sheet marked when he left and with another color I marked when he entered Canada. It took me days to complete (over 3000 pages in total) but I thought that not many agents will know how to read regular log sheets unless you have always been on E-logs. I filed them because I did not want to throw a stack of paper into a box as to agrevate the agent. The easier you make it for them the faster they can go through every thing.

Sounds crazy but you need to provide the proof- that means you need to do what ever it takes to ensure you get your citizenship.

Good luck ;)

We did our test March 11, and in the interview she said that I had gone above and beyond and that the Rq is almost finalized and she sees 99% no problem as she herself reviewed the file in prep for the interview.
To me it was just comonsence as manual logsheets could be tricky to read and interpret.

Just waiting for the Oath

Did your husband had 1095 days of physical presence in Canada or he applied with lesser physical presence days and more basic residence days ?
Please tell

He applied with ample basic res. but with only 800 days physical presence hence the Rq.

may i know the reason for applying short of physical days?
Probably because he is a trucker who travels to the US quite a lot. Almost impossible to get sufficient days, so you have to hope that the CJ looks at the application under KOO formula.
