Hello everyone

I have a friend who lives in Pakistan. She is a plastic surgeon, 45 years old, and single. She has a government job there and wants to visit Canada. Can I send her an invitation? What reason should I mention in the letter of invitation?

The truth and specify an itinerary. Unless she has substantial ties to Pakistan and extensive travel history the fact she is single in her mid 40s, from Pakistan and a highly skilled professional that could make much more money outside Pakistan may make it quite difficult to get a TRV. Canada is not a typical visit location for Pakistanis unless there is a specific reason to go halfway around the world to an expensive country.

She doesn't need a letter of invitation to apply for a TRV. You can certainly provide her with one. However the focus of her application should be showing ties to her home country (e.g., job, property ownership, assets), showing previous travel to countries requiring visas, and demonstrating she has no plans on remaining in Canada long term.

Thanks you so much for the help. I'm planning to provide one plus she has strong ties and properties in Pakistan and has visited many countries including Europe and US as well in the past.

I just wanted to know what should I mention in letter if I provide one .
