Letter of Explanation - EE to Canada

Hi,

Just wanted to check if the LOE is compulsory in case we are submitting all our documents or we can skip that. I have applied for EE to Canada. In case I file the LOE, does it help in speeding up the processing time taken to grant PR?

LOE is optional.
