Hi all,
i applied for skilled worker immigration under new NOC38 job categories. I sent my application to Nova Scotia on 26'Mar-09.
I never received any acknoledgement from Sydney office till Novemeber when i received a letter statin that a letter was sent to you that u shld submit required documents to CAnadian Embassy in delhi within 120 days of, but since u havent done so, ur file is closed.

This was the only communication i received from NS office and my application fee was returned. Its strange as i went to local PO but they never received any such letter from Canada.

Pls suggest if can reapply. also should i include the previous details in my New application . Also has anyone else received such communicaton

Mc

I have no experience but if I were you, i would phone/email/fax New Delhi CIC and tell them that you did not get that letter and that since until one receives that letter they won't know their file number, and hence there would have been no way for you to check that your application got approved to the next level.

You could also think about re-applying to Sydney.

I too have no idea how to contact CIC. If you are re-applying you can write a letter what happened last time you applied along with application forms. Make sure you have given correct email address and chage mailing address to reliable one.

Keep tracing of approval from this blog too, so that you can approach CIO on time.

If you are in canada on a work or study permit, you can check the status of your PR application at the CIO even before you receive a letter from them by using your client ID number which is written on your work permit.

If you cannot see anything yet it means that they have not started processing your application yet.

I feel your pain and understood exactly how you feel.Try contacting the CIC office and state your own side of the story, there is really no harm in trying.A plan B is also neccessary.Wishing you all d best and good luck.

@professional 1 : Thanks for you information. I didn't know that. I tried with my ID and didn't show any information. Probably the application is not proccessed..

Hi kali,
Sorry to hear about this problem. CIo was sending e.mails to applicants and at that time i was happy this people have found away of solving this problem of mails not being received. I am sure if they really do care about our money tht we spend for this immigration they should always send mails , i mean by post and e.mail just to make sure in case you do not receive the post letter you will have an idea of what is happening.

Hope they can really improve the service. i mean by sending e.mails also.

Canadaforall.

@canadaforall: Yp, you seem logical. CIO sends email after decision, not sure about mail.
