Good for you guy's. I am sure you will be sorted after the Medicals, usually 3 to 6 Months to finalize, which will be within their "standard processing time of 42-48Months"
Only those of us from November2007 upwards are stuck.
No documents update letter nor any other communication.

I hope everything will go smooth for all of us. Let our faith in god be strong and since we have waited all this long time, whatever time is remaining for finalizing our case, it is considered short. All what we need is faith in god and patience,

Yesterday I sent an e-mail to CHC London and got a reply :


Background checks remain outstanding and are likely to take some time to complete.


While am a quite sure that they have finished it.Also, I have asked them for medical request. What did you ask them?

My application started processing on June 20,2007
I submitted my Docs on August 17,2009
My update for extra Docs was on Oct 5,2010
My backgraound/security checks started on Oct 2010.
am a quite sure that my background finished in Jan.
waiting for medical
but I got my CAIPS NOTES today and found my next BF`D on 17-5-2011. I dont know if they are gonna to wait this date or they are gonna to move to the next step in next few weeks

I think they will send you soon the medicals because they are finalizing cases until the doc request date before September 2009. Good luck

Good news. At least they are doing some work. I wonder what happens to those who applied until feb 2008 and have not heard anything. Within the time limit its now 37 months gone. Any news

not all 2007 applicants cases will be finalized during 2011. Some of them will be delayed to 2012.

A friend of mine he`s just asked me about his case that he sent his docs in July 2009 without waiting for update letter(they didnt ask him to sent his docs, but becuase all people from the same timeline sent their docs he did so) and they asked for addit docs on Nov 2009 and another addit docs in Sep 2010. So what about him?

Hey Martha, There are people like me who have heard nothing for the past 40 Months and I know some others are clocking their 44th Month. Without docs update letter nothing can be processed. Hence, I have already started to think otherwise and loose hope in my case TBH.
If I wait another 3months without an update request letter then I doubt if anything is going to happen this year any longer, hence no point wasting time pursuing something that doesn't seem to have worked in my case for so long. That will be the end of the "Film for me". It will be time to start asking for a refund. End of story.
