Hi everyone,
I have a question about the Letter of Reference from my past employers.
For the past year, I have been working as an outsourced worker. Most of the time, this type of work is just like a traditional job. The difference is that I have to register a micro-business in my name and send my employer a tax invoice every month, or they won't pay me. The tax invoice is my equivalent of a pay stub.
The problem is, every contract documenting my employment is created using the identification of my micro-business. So the company that hired me doesn't want to sign a letter where I am being treated as employee because, technically, they are paying my juridical person for the job every month, not myself.
TL-DR
Does anyone has a model letter of reference for outsourced workers? Or more specifically, for workers hired through a juridical person?
Is there anyone from Brazil who worked as a juridical person and went through the same process? What did you do?
I also prepared a model myself, if you guys could read it ad give me some feedback, I would be really grateful:
To whom it may concern,
I am pleased to provide this letter to certify that [JANE DOE], through her company [JANE DOE ONE MAN COMPANY] participated in web design and user experience projects for Pied Piper, since her company was a contractor for [THE HIRING COMPANY]. The contract was effective from February 31, 3028 to December 01, 3028. The projects completed during that time were supervised by [JOHN SURNAME] in the headquarters of Pied Piper in Sao Paulo, SP.
The official working hours were 40 hours/week, with a payment of R$5,500.00 per month. As a UX Designer, [JANE]’s main responsibilities and duties included:
- Defining the architecture of websites, based on user researches and benchmarking;
- Planning and creating workflows for websites;
- Designing wireframes for websites and emails;
- Creating prototypes for websites.
Please, do not hesitate to contact our department if you need any additional information.
Thanks for your attention!!
